Data Sensum is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. As data controller, we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us through our website contact forms. Depending on which form you use, we may collect:

  • Your name (first and/or last name)
  • Your email address
  • Your company or organisation name
  • Your phone number (where provided)
  • Your team size or sector (where provided)
  • Details of your enquiry, project description, or message

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit our website. See Section 8 (Cookies) for details.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR to process your personal data:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Where you tick the consent checkbox on our contact forms, you give us your consent to process your personal data to respond to your enquiry. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at info@datasensum.com.
  • Pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract — for example, responding to a service enquiry.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Where we have a legitimate interest in processing your data that is not overridden by your rights and freedoms — for example, maintaining basic records of business communications for a reasonable period.

4. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use the personal data you provide solely for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry or request
  • To arrange and conduct a free productivity audit if you have requested one
  • To discuss and provide the services you have enquired about
  • To send you information directly relevant to your enquiry
  • To fulfil any contractual obligation where you have engaged us as a service provider

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not use your personal data for unsolicited marketing communications.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Enquiry and contact data: Retained for up to 2 years from the date of your last contact with us, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
  • Client project data: Retained for up to 6 years from the end of the engagement, in accordance with Irish commercial and tax law requirements.

Where you withdraw your consent or request erasure, we will delete your data promptly unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share your data with the following third-party service providers, solely as required to operate our services:

We use FormSubmit.co to receive form submissions from our website by email. When you submit a contact form, your data is transmitted via FormSubmit.co's servers before being delivered to us. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking third-party services on this website.

7. International Transfers

FormSubmit.co and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission, or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.

8. Cookies

  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): Where processing is based on consent or contract, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@datasensum.com. We will respond within one calendar month.
